Citizenship by Investment in Cyprus

  1. Real Estate: Applicants must purchase new, residential, commercial, or infrastructure property in Cyprus with a minimum value of €2 million. The investment must be maintained for a minimum of 5 years.

  2. Business and Economic Activities: Applicants can invest at least €2 million in the purchase, creation, or participation of Cypriot businesses or companies. The investment must contribute to the country's economic development and employ at least five Cypriot or European Union citizens.

  3. Alternative Investment Funds or Financial Assets: Applicants can invest at least €2 million in Alternative Investment Funds licensed and supervised by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) or in financial assets of Cypriot companies, organizations, or funds.

  4. Combination of Investments: Applicants can combine the above options, as long as the total investment amounts to at least €2 million.

 

  • Donation to the Cyprus Research and Innovation Foundation: In addition to the investment, applicants must make a one-time donation of €75,000 to the Cyprus Research and Innovation Foundation.

  • Residential Address: Applicants must possess a residential property in Cyprus valued at a minimum of €500,000, which must be retained indefinitely.

  • Residence Permit: Applicants must hold a valid residence permit in Cyprus before their citizenship application is approved. The residence permit can be obtained by purchasing a property as part of the investment.

  • Due Diligence: All applicants must undergo a rigorous due diligence process, including background checks, to ensure the integrity of the program and the source of funds.

  • Clean Criminal Record: Applicants and their family members must have a clean criminal record and be able to provide a Certificate of Clear Criminal Record from their country of origin or residence.
